Bolero in Paris, 1928. The setting was a dimly lit
spanish tavern filled with MEN watching, immobile,
as she quietly began to dance. Her movements grew even more intense
and she finally took a large table. Her steps became increasingly suggestive
and the onlookers showed more and more animation. Soon they were
pounding their fists on the table and stamping their heels on the floor.
At the furious climax they drew knives and attacked each other
in a mad frenzy.
