Other classical things:

Mahler - Adagietto from the 5th Symphony. Just perfect.

Carl Orff - "In Trutina" from Carmina Burana. Wonderful.

Khachaturian - Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia.

Dvorak - Largo from the 9th Symphony *

* my grandmother and I used to listen to this in the few years before she was struck with Alzheimers. Of course, many of you know that a hymn was written after this movement called "Going Home." I was very painful for all of us to see her lose her mind and her body over the next few years before her death. At my grandmother's viewing, when I first went up to the casket, I noticed the artwork on the inside of the cover had the words "Going Home"...
Needless to say, that was a very emotional moment for me, remembering the special connection that I had to my grandma via this beautiful piece of music.

The Beauty of Most Classical pieces usually lies within the skill of the performer or conductor of a given piece of music. However, there is one piece i believe transcends this and that it Claude Debussy's Reverie. I have many recordings of it and even recordings of students learning the piece sound beautiful.
