Trust me, they are totally worth it.  Even at $8 + $15, you are only at $23.  These little IEMs are just amazing.  Well worth double that price IMO.

..

Personally, I don't find the 8320 to compare favorably, w/r/t sound quality, to my $20+ IEMs. To me it sounds like a $7 earphone, even with better tips and a good seal. So mileage varies. Caveat emptor.

My Sennheiser CX-485 and Audio-Technica ATH-CKM50 were both purchased for less than $25 and sound superior to the 8320. My HiFiMan RE-0 was a bit more expensive, but also sounds much better than the 8320. For mobile use, e.g., cycling, noisy environments, my Sony MH1c ($23 shipped) sounds considerably better than the Monoprice.

So i am currently deciding between these and jvc xtreme xplosives. Any suggestions???

Well, if you are looking for bass, I would suggest the JVC FX101 instead.

If you are looking for good sound stage and a neutral clean sound get the 8320/9927 instead.

I bought the MP8320 IEMs a month ago and ran them through its course of burn-in for over 100+ hours to date. Then I got the MP9927 in the mail yesterday and ran 'pink noise' through them for about 20 hours. Today after getting home from work, I did a quick comparison and it sounds like the 9927s have stronger bass than my month old 8320s. It could just be me but I'm not lying. It might just be my ears but I think Monoprice made more changes to the 9927s than just new silicone tips and new color. Can someone with both IEMs put together a direct comparison and post it?

Yes I bought the 8320 before the new one was listed (bummer ). What are you waiting for? If you're worried about authenticity don't! The seller is great person as you can also see from his feedbacks.
