I find the most annoying bit of these earphones...is their wire 0.0
Takes 5mins to un-tangle them.

Yes -- they seem to tangle effortlessly, and then you have to twist and turn forever to get the things straightened out.  Also -- very ugly earphones.  But to be honest, I like them better than the other dsnuts cheap-o ATH-CKM50A (like earlier posters, have been scrounging in the bargain bin).

I bought two of these picked up at the monoprice warehouse. Thing is, they both sounded very different from each other. The first one (which I use) is tinny and very shallow sounding. The other one (which I gave to my wife) sounds awesome. Damn!

I guess you get what you pay for.

My other phones are the JVC Flatts and SR60i.

You live in Rancho?

Ive had a good bit of listening time now and I gotta say these things sound great, regardless of price. There is something about how they portray the music. They are very rhythmic and musical, and have great detail intelligibility. They are easy to mentally burn in and easy to like. Psycho-acoustically correct if you will. Im just blown away by the price of these.
