took this snapshot / image a long time ago to show my start up gear 
i do photography and this is the first time i learned about this thread. i would be willing to try to do fine art photography for my gear and ill post it here - hope i find the time to do it .

It was recommended that I post this image to this thread. I took this one a few months ago while listening to my Little Dot 1+/Bifrost combo through my Grado RS1i.
 
Flash was hand held above the rig, with the camera on a tripod to get the exposure time I needed to get the glow from the tubes.

You really worked hard on that shot - balancing the light sources - and it shows.  Great composition, too!  And I love the way the shadows under the knobs are blue - not washed out by the overhead flash.

I love and hate (all at the same time) working with such shallow depths of field - it can be so fiddly to get the focus exactly where you want it. Nice pic!
