Yeah!  That's the image I could recall seeing - thanks for that!  We must be geeks of a feather, finding his collection to be so exhilarating.  What's wrong with us?

Nothing, we just appreciate a properly mounted Op Amp collection!
 
A local, had a going out of business sale, he had his collection of 20K tubes spread out on his driveway in a big take it all sale. ($1200 OBO)
Silly me, I attempted to discuss purchasing said collection with the wife...

The Little Dot MK IV is an OTL (output transformerless) amp that is best suited to high impedance headphones, members here run mostly beyerdynamic's and Sennheiser's with great success. The amplifier does require different tubes to bring out the best in it, which are not expensive compared to other amplifiers. :D
