The last song that's given you that spine-tingling feeling.

I whole-heartedly agree! The end is so eerie...

"Echoes" is the ONLY song to EVER give me chills.

Every time I hear the mid-song screeches, I shake!

Thaddy, what other Pink Floyd songs make you tremble?

Please drop me a private message sometime, I want to know.

Man that's a really hard question to answer. It should have been phrased "What other Pink Floyd albums make you tremble?"

I've been into them pretty heavily for the past 1.5-2 years, and I've learned to appreciate all of their albums. I go through phases, just like I do with Dream Theater and Tool. Some days The Wall just does it for me, while other days Animals satisfies my Floyd cravings. I don't really have a favorite Floyd album, I just prefer certain ones, depending on my mood

Heck no, mate! I love that intro as well, though my spine-tingling moment of that album is reserved for Ghost Love Score, without a doubt their best song ever IMO. I've been wearing out their new album like nothing else lately.

The first time I heard dark side of the moon it was in sacd surround. When Any Colour You Like, came on, I about crap my pants.

The synthesizers were like a sonic waterfall, cascading over the tops of my speakers and flowing straight in to my soul.

yah, I was high... so what?!

Thaddy --

Well, obviously Pink Floyd makes ALBUMS, not SONGS.

I was phrasing it that way to elicit a song specific response.
Since the title of this thread DOES refer to the feeling of a song.

I say this because "In The Flesh(?)" does not tingle my spine, per se.
But "Is There Anybody Out There?" gives me the aforementioned sensation.

Obviously, I can say that "The Wall" as a whole is my "spine tingler."
But, that is too general a response and quite frankly, is plain useless.

See where I am going with that?
But yes, I do see your point... I do!
