Also, what does everyone think of the new Johnny Marr CD?  I have heard one track and it sounded pretty good.

Not sure yet. I have only listened to it a couple of times and my expectations may have been too high. I know that Johnny Marr for many years, decades, intentionally avoided to play guitar the way he did on the The Smith albums. I recently read in an interview that he was returning to play or sound somewhat similar to this and what I always have felt was such a unique sound, but unfortunately I only hear it in very brief moments on the new album.

Maybe the album will grow on me with more head time. I certainly wasn't expecting to hear the Smiths all over again, but I do miss hearing him play the way he used to.. and in a way sad that he left it behind, mainly due to the dispute he had with Morrissey when the Smiths broke up.

I live in cincinnati and there is a lawyer here that left it in his will that if morrissey and marr were in the same room together they would inherit his money.  Apparently, there were no takers. lol

I have been looking at the foals album holy war on amazon for like months.  I downloaded it since you mentioned it.

Anyone check out those "indie" playlists on torrent sites?  They are really bad.  How is it indie?

Get Total Life Forever, their best album. The best song is Black Gold, my favourite song of theirs, but it's so underrated.

Gave the Foals a listen. Liked what I heard but not really my style. I have been listening to a lot of Superchunk lately. Really like their latest. Always amazes me when a band takes off as long as they did and then come back with such great sounding music.
