I've noticed backlight bleeding in mine, and on top of all the bugs and  other niggles I'm sending mine back. Just when I thought I had found the perfect player.

Had an experience today where the volume control went crazy.  I wanted to decrease the volume several steps - instead the volume kept decreasing to 0 and the device became unresponsive.  Fortunately restarting the device did the trick - working normally again.

Mine has backlight bleeding in the bottom left corner, as well as a dead pixel in the top right. A bit annoying but I hardly notice them in normal use - not that I blame you for sending it back.

So what made you change your mind then?  Last I heard you wern't seriously thinking of getting one any time soon.  Come to that why hasn't Ibasso sent you a personalized dx50 for suggesting the concept in the first place ?  Maybe it got lost in the post or something?
 
On another note has anyone in the uk who has ordered one been hit for taxes on this thing yet?  If so for how much?

Same thing happened to me 3 times today. At the moment it is working normally.

The DX50 didn't come in the mail today as expected so hopefully it comes tomorrow. I guess I'll put the blame on usps as tracking said today

That's what I though after listning to it a few hours ago at the Noisy Motel. 
Also, how is the Studio V going along? Felt the urge to upgrade yet? 

 
Not really. It holds its own even against the AK120 personally. I like how it pairs with the SE5 and the Flat 4 Sui. While the DX50 is temping the reality is I sold the DX100 due to how well the Studio V paired with the 1Plus2 at the time. I don't think the DX50 will beat this current pairing. Same goes vs the AK120.
