I have an Ibasso DX50 and when I turn it on, I get the screen with the Ibasso message, but it does not finish starting. I can't access the menus, or do anything else like update the firmware, etc. Can anything be done, or is my Ibasso just dead?

Not DX50 user but this this might help.

Two options to factory reset: (They should yield the same results)
Either through the Settings\Advanced Menu\Factory Reset or
Recovery Mode (Volume + and Power On button simultaneously) Then select Factory Reset with the volume + button and Power On to start it.

the fw is the latest original from ibasso site.

i have a question about rockbox: how change rockbox the player's sound?
I hearing rock-metal-classical music, should i change to rockbox?

another question:
in original fw, if i set sleep timer, the player forget the sleep timer settings after i switch off ibasso.
is there any option in rocbox what dont forget sleep timer after power off the ibasso?

and can you post a link for rocbox(for ibasso)

I used to have it, but it didn't work. It was buggy and would freeze up. Plus it only went to 48K. I uninstalled it and lost it in a computer upgrade.
