I'm getting the same result. 1bar/2hours and more than 3hours for the last bar. I'm still using the stock battery. I'll be getting a genuine S III battery to check if theres any changes between the sound and battery life.

Good to hear. Please keep us posted about the genuine SIII battery. I've seen some 2900 mah batteries that appear to be same size as the 2100, been thinking about trying one of those.

There are some changes when it comes to sound quality as per rudi and I'm so willing to try it lol. Sure. I can always share my impressions.

i just got mine today, moving from Cowon J3. I have got one quick question, as I listen to quite a lot of DJ sets is there any way to resume playback from where you left it after you switch dx50 off? I have all the tracks starting from beginning which is a bit of pain in the ass... 

Hey, same as me! Found my J3 a few weeks back after two years or so of not using it. Around the same time, heard about the X3 and the DX50. Pulled the trigger on the DX50.

Still haven't got mine though. So, how's it treating ya?

Same here. It turned my DX50 into a [slightly bulkier] AK100.
 
Now, if only we were able to scan USB OTG storage... Even if it would take days to scan all the files, the option would be nice.

Totally agree with you mate. DX50+AMP is too bulky and adding an OTG storage makes it bulkier. I have 3SD cards (32g and 2pcs 64g). You're right, DX50 don't have the capability to scan OTG storage so I mainly use the 32g and I enjoy swapping the 2 64g using meenova.
