  I find that pairing the DX50 with different headphones and iems can be quite selective...not everything works well.
 
My ASG-2 sounds surprisingly thin and with fairly harsh treble paired with the DX50, which was a bit surprising. I have no clue... my wild guess is that it might be due to the sensitivity of the 2 BA drivers? On the other hand, the R3 pairs quite beautifully with the DX50 and i think i might prefer the R3 with the DX50 over the ASG-2.
 
Really hoping my incoming rendition 1 changes that...

The R1 is a great pairing with the DX50 and honestly a strangely under-appreciated amp here on Head-Fi. A friend is borrowing mine at the moment, when I get it back I just might look into upgrading the Opamps... They're socketed, just begging to be rolled!

Mine case just arrive too... but mine looks different from yrs... the button part and the bottom cut off portion... the case i have is about 2.5 mm thick..

The fit is flawless, but mine still has DualLock fitted so the cover is stretched a couple of mm extra.

Nakedtoes, was your case supplied by ibasso or else where? Mine is the same as posted by Sorensiim. Seems odd for them to have made such changes already, looks like a cost cutting exercise.

so european based head-fiers should be receiving theirs I guess..

Perhaps they make two diffent cases, ibasso for international mini audio for domestic. Seems odd that they would use to differing designs though.

Shure 215s and Fiio RC-Se1 cable hits the spot for me. Mainly playing Rock and Metal. No amp [yet????].

Guys,I was going to get a 128gb flash drive for the dx50...from reading back I know some people mentioned the PNY models,just to confirm is the one above compatible with dx50? just checking as I know some people bought flash drives that wouldn't work with the dx50 otg cable...
