iriver should be nervous, very very nervous....
Lol I see a stamp that says "EXTREMELY URGENT"
Very impressed by iBasso not skimming on cost and used the most expensive and fastest courier option to send this out. Oh yup the extra battery also:

Wow really anxious to see comparisons between AK120, DX100 and HM901!
Looks considerably bigger than the ak100 =O
Could you take a pic of the back as well? Is the whole casing alloy or there are plastic parts around it? The area surrounding the buttons are plastic? Or layered in glass? Screen is glass/plastic?
Mind giving a comparison on the build quality compared to AK100?
I.e, small gaps between screen or case where dusts get stuck, etc.
And lastly a quick initial impression on the SQ vs stock AK100 and X3?![]()
That is not AK100. That is AK120. The back is also brushed aluminium:
Build quality is way beyond my expectations given the price difference against x3 and ak100. Will comment on sound, UI, operations etc when I had a chance to spend more time with it. But first 15 mins of usage things are looking very optimistic.

Whoops. Couldn't see the volume dial from the angle of the earlier pic
Would you said the build quality is on par with the AK?
Yes I think they are on par. The brushed aluminium are of high quality and all the buttons look sturdy and feel nice to touch. Construction is top notch and the curves on the back make it very nice to hold. Never liked to hold the ak without the leather case with its angular shape. Dx50 feels overall more ergonomic to me.
