It is not a ranking.
It is the order in which they were declared "the best".

Remember, we all get to play once. I've got to second that sentiment. I can understand his reasoning but even if you are extremely happy with the HD580, it's hard for me to believe that you actually believe that they are better than the HE90. So the HE90 are still the best!

Anyone really believe something is better? It has to be based on a genuine belief, however that belief was formed. Listening is not required for this thread, but the genuineness of your belief is.

You guys can't say the HE90 is better yet so the HD580s are still the best!

I can say for sure that the K1000 are the best phones. WAY better than the HD580 of course.
