So measuring the impedance of the gsx is not going to be so easy, i need a booster
amplifier for the signal generator because the gsx tests so low. At full blast on the generator
which is 20 volts peak to peak...
Here are preliminary numbers. single ended.
At 10x gain, at 1khz, the output impedance is between .2 and .3 ohms
at 10x gain at 20khz the output impedance is between .4 and .5 ohms
at 1x gain at 1khz, the output impedance is less than .1 ohm
at 1x gain at 20khz the output impedance is less than .2 ohms
I can't put enough voltage into the back end of the resistor to accurately measure
the signal at the output of the gsx.
Measuring balanced is also not going to be so easy, i may use an isolation transformer
for this, but it almost has to be double the impedance above.
