Yep, definitely a hybrid. I voted for it as a hybrid. And all votes should count towards hybrid. While it has Tia drivers and a 'normal' BA driver, Tia is just an open BA and doesn't count as a different driver type.Isn’t the Fourte a Hybrid? I’m sure it was only a BA and DD Hybrid.

I have the GT600S in my ear right now! I must say I did NOT expect it to be included in the hall of fame, that too in Joint First Place under $110??
If that's not enough, I see the Little Dot Cu-KIS claiming First place under $1000?
I am honestly overwhelmed, I own both of them, but honestly I did not think that both of them will grab first place in their respective category! They are so underrated iems that...I find it hard to believe that they were mentioned anyone but me! Did they get so many votes?? It's incredible!!!!

Hello, I'm new at this thread and just found out about this poll. It's fun to read other people having similar tastes...
Just a bit of clarification though.... I own the BGVP DMS and I distinctly remember buying it well below 350 usd. I think around the ~150 usd range? Or was the original release price well over 350 usd ?
Nice poll by the way. Cheers

Great to hear what everyone has to say and we appreciate some IEMs may have found themselves in the wrong, price or drivers, category.
With all the will in the world when you are counting votes, your focus is entirely on the votes and not whether the item is in the right category. Now that we have your comments we will check and and get back to you all. Thanks for the feedback guys and girls.

Now our focus as readers is trying to acquire/purchase those included in the list of winners.

You also have a few I hope to get in future. Especially, Z1R, which most associate with bass, but I gathered from the Z1R thread, and you seem to agree, that the treble is one of the best attributes of the Z1R.
Thanks for an impressive list.

Thanks for an impressive list.
Even if my current dap cannot properly power the z1r, the trebles are the BEST.
my 1670ss come 2nd for treble full bodiedness, but there's a very big setback, some sibilance on not so good recordings.
The z1r manages these issues w/ ease...
Best single DD under $350 is Penon Fan...cannot agree...I have Fan, and I have to say Fiio FD5 is far superior!Best single-DD IEM

Definitely my aim for this year, the sooner the better, but I need to sell some of my numerous IEMs.thanks

It is usually difficult to decide which to sell, but the thought of the Z1R (at the end of that process) makes it a bit easier.

A powerful DAP, i.e. a dx160 or equivalent is sufficient enough for the 50 Ω z1R load. if u hear a noticeable diff. in cable rolling, it's best & worth it to upgrade the cable as well. The mids, for my ears are noticeably recessed...Definitely my aim for this year, the sooner the better, but I need to sell some of my numerous IEMs.
