Man... I have to sell off my only decent can (D2000) to fund this so I'm pretty much in the same boat. The ESW9 is really tempting but I somehow need to conjure up the funds to buy it.

Did I get this right? People are buying new headphones just for the few weeks they spend on waiting for the HF2?

It looks like I won't be getting my HF-2 for another 8 weeks or so. I was planning on spending those weeks listening to the HF-2...

I'm not sure what to do now.

Or wait, bite your nails till you reach your elbows...

The better option would be to enjoy your music with your other cans (grados?), and prepare a "comparison" between them.

You can rent my D5000 for $50 a week which should mostly pay for my HF-2's.

I say get a pair of Edition 8 to tide you over for now.
