Staging-wise, I didn't feel it change too much when switching from 009 to Naobi-Ultimate but maybe it shrunk a little, if any.
Ergonomics over the 009 is a massive win for me and I'm happy with the tradeoff even though the 009 pairing is still quite good.
I usually use my DC Ti with DX300MAX Ti but nowadays I also pair SP3000 Cu with it. Both sound pretty good imo. Sometimes an IEM is power hungry and the pairing is much better on the DX300MAX compared to the SP3000 Cu but I didn't feel it's an issue with DC Ti using 4.4 mm balanced.
Just found an old thread on fitear cm posted by the boss of campfire audio mr. ken ball, who obviously was not a japanese resident. He ordered a pair of air2 cm at fujiva-avic in fall 2017 so it's not really strictly impossible for foreigners to order fitear cm in japan (at least in the past or for people in the trade)!

just found in 2016, John from Darko has been lined up by his contact in Tokyo to order a Air CIEM! so the policy of domestic shipping seems could be relaxed for those having contact in the trade.
while searching for comments on air2, i also found the spec of TE100 and TE200, the universal takes of Air and Air2 (and Titan) on Fostex's website. fitear does not disclose the technical details of their iems lately but Fostex just listed most of the spec like other mainstream iem makers. Most people thought Titan requires quite a lot of driving power but in fact the spec said maximum input is limited to only 20mW @ 13Ω! so it seems to me any DAP or even dongle has adequate power to drive TE200 (likely will apply to titan or air2 too) to enough loudness level. i'm currently using low gain at vol. 70 from my AK CA1000 4.4mm balance for my titan with satisfactory loudness.

Edited: Just read Suyama san's old tweet on the launch of DC in Jul 2019, which he said that even fitear's new product (in 2019 times, i.e. upto and including DC) could be sufficiently driven by fostex TM2 bluetooth dongles after one-year listening test. https://twitter.com/kindo3/status/1146987557797781504
I couldn't find tm2's output power spec but would imagine it's in the range of 1xx mW or even lower (making reference from more recent similar products from fiio and ifi).
read that H1 is using the same driver setup of silver, if that's true and the two versions sound similarly, then DC Ti and H1 likely will have quite big difference in tuning. DC Ti has much more presence from mid to bass,. many also shared DC Ti has a relative "dark" tuning.
but the BA implementation is likely not the main cause of difference here. Suyama san explained in one japanese interview that DC's EST tweeter operates above 10kHz so the in-line DD drivers may have more impact to the sound profile than the difference between BA & EST tweeter ( https://www.phileweb.com/review/article/201908/15/3549_2.html).
there're many fellow members in this thread own both (Silver/H1 and DC Ti) and more knowledgeable and properly could share in more details
Onkyo K1 just arrived. I can really hear Fitear’s tuning here. Quite similar to the silver sans the lower bass and the highs, but considering this is a single BA IEM, it performs very well. Harder to drive than the silver, almost the same volume when using DC Ti.
I want to try different cables for my fitear, but will most likely get them in 2pin variants as I have other iems that use 2pins too. Which adapter do you guys recommend? for 2pin to fitear

I just saw Onkyodirect sellingぼっち・ざ・ろっくvery K1 on their website and they allow buyers to use buyee to ship abroad! Very interested to get a pair but wonder if k1 sounds ok? I got the silver but not really like it. . . I understand k1 only uses single BA ( h1 sans the BA tweeter).
