In order to make the X3 2nd gen meet customers’ expectations for sound quality as well as color selection, FiiO now provides two more color options for you—Black and Gold.

 
 
The delivery of X3 2nd gen (Black) to worldwide agents is starting tomorrow, while the X3 2nd gen (Gold) will be a little later till the beginning of April.

It will be nice if you include a new replacement case to the dead silicone, for the X3ii, like the brown LCFX 3221

Clear plastic, personaly, are useless.

Black is ok, but to stay in the darkside, I will consider better a Carbon fiber color, similar to the included stickers!?! Graphite will be fine to!

Whynot a completed translucent unit. A Special Edition, exclusively for all the X3 fans! Anyway, what would that do, if the DAP is always hidden in his pouche ?

But fornow, I will stay with the Titanium!

I like that black X3ii! I think a clear or translucent silicone case would be a good replacement for the cheap plastic one.

Yup! this black mat, (charcol, anthracite) is apealing! Its not realy dark black!

I think FiiO will take all this req into consideration! Cross fingers!

I sure hope they do take it into consideration. It's the first time I've seen them comment on the cases in any way. There must be more people out there besides us who like Fiio audio players but don't like those plastic cases.

The plastic cases are cheap and nasty. The silicone case that originally came on the X3II is good. But, with the new colors, having a black case that covers the entire unit is not all that good. A clear silicone case would be very nice for showing off the X3II.
