Best way to spend an evening after a wearisome day. Just sitting outside listening to your new toys.

Both of which I bought used.

I have had the Fiio X3 for quite a while now and I am really enjoying it.
This is a good product from Fiio.

Also, I would be really appreciative of anyone who could list all the shortcuts and tips/tricks in the Fiio UI, it would be a huge boon to ALL owners.

Ex: Long Pressing the Options button brings up the Now Playing Screen, doing so in the Now Playing screen being up the song details.

I need to try this although I knew about the Now Playing on-screen options.  In the About options, there is also  a user manual when you use the scroll wheel to go from page-to-page.

I'm listening to mine currently through the line out into RCA phono output into my music system.  It's a good all rounder, with the options available for playback.

I agree. I've had mine for a month and a half and I couldn't be happier with it. Great sound and great quality. I'm glad I ordered a spare silicone case before they are discontinued by Fiio.

You should check out the Dignis cases (if you haven't already).

How quickly do they arrive from Korea? Do you have one? They seem to be the only other option except for the plastic case they sell for the X3ii which just looks terrible and probably wouldn't protect very well at all.

Mine took about 3 weeks, but only because Canada Customs sucks balls.

Plastic case protects well and is compact. Doesn't look all that bad.

Dignis protects very well. Yes, the top is open but the case is flush with the end so corners (most vulnerable) are not exposed.

I really like the look of the Dignis case and it looks like it would protect pretty well even though it's open at the top. The plastic one looks alright but probably doesn't protect as well as the Dignis case. Yeah Canada customs does suck balls for sure. Thanks for the pictures

Those Dignis do look nice, just too bad they won't work with the stacking kits (at least I assume they won't). The leather doesn't make the x3 heat up too much?

No issues with heat. Stacking kit won't work, so you're stuck with a band.

The X3ii runs remarkably cool. I can't see a leather case changing that.
