mine didn't work for some reason.
Depends on the paper clip. They are often different diameters. We have some metal ones which fit nicely.
No more firmware updates for X1
So Fiio is done providing firmware updates for the X1. In the past Fiio would continue providing updates on their DAP's even after an updated model was released. I guess this means there won't be an updated model to replace the X1. I understand that we could see the new Fiio M5 as early as August and given its proposed price of around $100.00 it could be what Fiio is replacing the X1 with. Apparently the M5 will have bluetooth and likely much better battery life. It would be hard justifying an updated X1 model at it's current price with the M5 so close in price.
Personally I wouldn't mind a plastic body DAP at around $100.00 if it has at least 20 hours battery life and will take a 128 GB microsd card. Hopefully with a better SOC you won't have the 4000 song limit the M3 has. Kind of anxious to see what the M5 looks like.

About the firmware update. the firmware is based on X3/X5, so it is quite stable and with almost all features we can added. so there are not need to more update. I know quite some features/bugs people are ask us add/solvd in the future. but
it is impossible or too difficult to do that. hope everyeone can understand us.
But do have any plan to add this requested features in the X1II or X5II or X3II.
There is a lot feature requested like bookmark function, file info, smart playlist.....and more which are really good. Is there any plan to implement them in X1II or X5II or X3II???
Also, I think a Data Migration option should be there in every X player to import the data from X1(or other) to X1II(or other). It will keep our internal playlist and favourites even after upgrading the player .
