@JamesFiiO will the next firmware update remove the 5800 file limit on the X1? Thanks!

I know, I know, it's a portable player. But she wanted a little tube love. Sounds delicious!! If the outputs are there might as well use them.
Cheers!!!
+1, the X1 is a great source, I hook it up everywhere...
etc...
- to Vali + HD600 (bedside rig)
- to PA2V2 + HD600 (my ironing gear - portable enough to walk between the ironing board and the closet)
- to E07K + iems (portable rig)
- to the living-room stereo
Sonically, none that I can hear (with IEMs). It just avoids me the hassle of switching between HO and LO modes. My typical commute routine:
1) X1 → car stereo
2) X1 → E07K → IEM as I walk between the parking lot and the office
3) X1 → desktop amp → full-size headphones as my office gear
So the portable amp saves me the step of messing with the X1 as I switch gear...
Thanks, Well almost same reason as me... My E07K is used as my Computer sound card with Active speakers then X1 + Mont Blanc as my portable rig. I'm just looking for a good set of IEM when going outside as inside home it's my portable rig and Grado SR225
E07k with active speakers, means double amp? I was thinking if I could use x1 LO with my aego M
so i want to upgrade from this dap
what do you recommend?
x5ii or dx90
im looking for the best sound and dont care too much about ui
the x1 is very very good but recently
i want to upgrade because i feel its lacking in smoothness and refinement
i use sennheiser hd598
still eazy to drive but if i upgrade my headphone i need to buy amp as well
so i will stick with this headphone
also i still feel that i need a better dap because i have auditioned headphone
and did not find the sound i like yet i do on dap like fiio x5
the storekeeper in the audio store said that i should buy a dap instead of headphone
and im looking for increased detail too
Finally managed to make portable more portable.
