How well does it work with very sensitive IEMs? Meaning how low is the output impedance and how many steps does the volume control offer?
I'm asking because often there are not enough steps with too big jumps for something like a BA IEM with > 130 dB/V sensitivity.

THX AAA amp stage out of the picture, and then is it just on-board amping from the Sabre DACs ?

BTR9 naming would have made more sense based on previous models...or BTR6 maybe  ?

Not really sure if there's a need for this on the market if you already have a btr 3/5/7 or a Qudelix 5k

Until BT devices start implementing Aptx Lossless (which has now been implemented by the info Diablo 2) all of these releases are fillers

Its FiiOs new naming scheme, BTR5 replacement becomes BTR15, replacement for BTR7 will be the BTR17 etc.... BTR15 is not higher up in the range than the BTR7.

Without your info. you'd think otherwise. Not a sense-making model number naming sequence.
Anyway.

Exciting! Does the BTR15 do SPDIF out? I'd love more information about settings and options. Love the concept of the included plastic clip, what a clever solution to all the case/clip issues and preferences. Thanks for listening to your customers.
