How well does it work with very sensitive IEMs? Meaning how low is the output impedance and how many steps does the volume control offer?
I'm asking because often there are not enough steps with too big jumps for something like a BA IEM with > 130 dB/V sensitivity.

BTR9 naming would have made more sense based on previous models...or BTR6 maybe ?

Not really sure if there's a need for this on the market if you already have a btr 3/5/7 or a Qudelix 5k

Until BT devices start implementing Aptx Lossless (which has now been implemented by the info Diablo 2) all of these releases are fillers

It's the successor of BTR5 with smarter battery management, more power and better EQ. For a lower price it seems. I can see no reason to complain.

Its FiiOs new naming scheme, BTR5 replacement becomes BTR15, replacement for BTR7 will be the BTR17 etc.... BTR15 is not higher up in the range than the BTR7.
