Before I even used the DX90 I reformatted my 64GB Class10 from exFAT to FAT32 right from the start. So, there is a chance that this is not really the root cause of the "1 second pause/resume" event.

I've only heard the DX90, but It's very hard not to recommend. 
The X5 should sound a bit more intimate and warm.
 
The DX90 simply sounds brilliant.

I have the same phones than you.   I have listened to both and I do have to say they are very good, I'd have no problems recommending any however if you are looking for complete functionality and possibly a more organized firmware update process, I would lean more towards the X5.

There are those that say from a sq perspective you would be fine whichever way you choose. If you are still having problems deciding at this point I would think you need to look at whichever player suits your needs better whether it be form factor, functions or aesthetics.

Thanks. Because I've been reading from someone that the DX90 doesn't have enough power to drive the HD600 thus creating a loss of details. That's why I thought the x5 would have been a better idea. But I will more choose the X5 for its dynamic and dark sound‚ I already got a great soundstage with the hd600 I don't need to make it even bigger with the DX90.

Hd600 is well driven by dx90 even in mid gain, and the new firmware of dx90 has a darker background and better mid, so you might still have to read more reviews as the change in dx90 in new firmware is quite defining for me.

The return policy is with the authorized dealer which is 30 days in average.

I'm not familiar with gapless at all. Why would it not play to the end if it's not turned on?

iBasso should just turn on gapless by default. There's no reason it should be turned off anyways. Maybe remove the switch completely.
