I'll be honest, neither can I.  Although... once in a blue moon Koss will issue a ridiculous 30% off coupon for everything in their store.  Sometimes it's applicable to the ESP-950, sometimes it's not.  Might want to keep a look out for that.
 
As for myself, I am on the lookout for a pair of second-hand ER-4S in good condition.  With any luck, it won't make too big of a dent on my Flat4 fund.

Yeah... I tend to be a bit careless. Actually, its more often the gear breaks. I've been better with my gear recently, and it helps that I've been trying to buy stuff with better build quality. It's always some unforseen disaster that kills them.

The flat4 intrigues me but it's always seemed a bit impractical to me. Is it comfortable? I could get it through Tenso or summat.

Won't price Japan ship directly to you? They offer EMS shipping. $428.00 was also including EMS shipping to me while Music Acoustic its generally $475.00 Plus additional for EMS shipping. The fit actually isn't as bad as I initially thought. Wearing them down is more so cumbersome depending on your ears. But wearing them over ear completely solved that issue. I've been using them a lot. They are indeed an amazing value to performance for its price range. There's no arguing that.... Keep in mind the isolation on them is horrible. Then again that is another thing I like about them since its safer to use these while out in public.

I don't think I would take it outside much. For me it would sort of me a collectors acquisition like the EX1000 :3
