I got one of these last time someone posted that they were up on Shoreline and I should have said thanks. I love it. I really have nothing to compare it to, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I really, really like the analog volume instead of messing around with my PC volume or Itunes volume...just reach up and turn the knob.  Just what an old guy like me needs. The RCA outs to my stereo are a million times better than the thing I was using before from DAK: http://www.dak.com/reviews/2045story.cfm  and the headphone jack is better than the one on the front of my PC, although I still use the one on my receiver a lot too...
 
Oh, and adgtron has a couple Sennheiser HD 439 Headphones Black on amazon for ~ $45 shipped.

Shoreline is a small music shop in my hometown. They don't sell a huge variety of products, so their open box stuff will only ever be Audioengine, Grado, Beyerdynamic, etc.

Anyone know of any good deals for some Sennheiser HD558s or HD598s? 
 
I see some used HD558s on Amazon for $120, but I would kinda like the original packaging, and I also have a concern that they will be the older model that suffer from the cracking issue, same concerns with used HD598s.

Great deal for a very good headphone. Good bang for your buck, I wonder why it isn't as well known. This can is closest to my personal preferences of any can I ever heard.
