I have plenty of jena wire here and I just bought the woodies last night and I bought the MD2000 used, so yeah I get out of it considerably cheaper than D7000 about $575-$625USD including shipping in the end; is what it will have cost me with a lawnton audio, blackwood cupped MD2000 with 18AWG jena (mark uses 22AWG) and a furutech earsuit 1/4" connector or maybe i'll make it balanced and make a short XLR->1/4" convertor. I'll go by your recommendation HA; I will go with a 4-5' cable. I was thinking 3-3.5 but that would be for portable use and still long enough when I have my rig right next to my keyboard. but if I make it 4.5-5' I guess I can just coil up the excess when i'm using it transportable; which TBH probably wont happen that often. more for holidays and plane travel
