I just received a pair of **** DT2 and they sound quite decent, especially when I snapped on balanced cables to listen through my Pono. Only listened a couple of hours so far but plan to take it as a traveling pair on an upcoming trip instead of my westone w20. They have some bass boost but are still pretty crisp and clear in mid and treble, nice with vocals and minimal sibillance.. Just early impressions but am worth the approx $35 I paid

Q-Music QE50 is apparently $99 rebrand of Fidue A73 http://store-us.make.dmm.com/q-music-qe50-bg/

A73 seems pretty well liked.

I read about this over here http://www.head-fi.org/t/795713/audio-technica-ath-e70-ath-e50-ath-e40-iems-announced-at-namm-2016/105#post_12436908

clieos, likewise thanks for your efforts.
been looking for a hybrid in this class to replace my astrotec 35, which was brutally raped and murdered by my dog. my criteria:
easy to drive
tight impactful deep bass
detailed extended treble
good sense of humor
large breasts. etc...
the **** and dqsm sound interesting, also the musa and bette--any recommendations or thoughts would be appreciated

Right now the best money to spend is probably either Tingker TK200 or AudioSense AS20, which ever you can find cheaper.

Glad to join! .....I'm a big hybrid fan, as well!

Hey ClieOS, If you happen to stumble on some hybrids that that sounds similar to the "Campfire Audio Jupiters" for a fraction of the price? Than, count me in!!!

I'm a hugh fan of the Campfire Audio Jupitor's sound signature, but I can't afford them (since I'm a family man on a budget). So, if you happen to stumble on a transparent and airy sounding IEM like the Jupitors? You're more than welcome to "PM" me ....or I'll just read up on your latest IEM reviews on this thread.

WELCOME BACK!!!

Agreed. TK12 is best IEM I've had to date.

Yeah after owning the 12 and having the 13 for a few days, they are two of the best under $100 and would go for way above their price if they were in the big retail market. The 13 is def improved over the 12 in overall sound but I'd only recommend the 13 to 12 owners if they have the money and MUST hear it...or do what I did and sell the 12 for some money towards the 13 :). Slightly less massive bass but with better texture & controll AND the treble in all areas has been improved, including resolution & clarity. I don't find it as Dark though as the 12 (as of right now with about 24 hours of burn in)

I've got my eyes on the new DQSM D2. Waiting for TWIN and others to get it in and compare it against the SW III. The TK13 is still a temptation because I like the 12 so much.
