Thanks just slimming down my collection of audio gear. I am very happy with the performance of the Luxury & Precision W2 dongle for portable listening, and I use my DMP-Z1 for desktop use.

I’m about 99.999% certain you can daisy-chain a second 1Z/1A to the first one (in a Cradle) in route to the TA! You may be in the market for a second Cradle?

The second Cradle goes into the computer port. Then the Computer gets put into the last Cradle. It would work. I don’t have a second Cradle to try it, but I’m almost positive it would work. Just a mini USB to regular USB would work. Same as you use now for the computer into the back of the Cradle to the TA.

Actually doesn’t work. I just got the idea to try the USB adapter to the Cradle then to the TA. Failure.

But the USB to mini does work on the Walkman side port (as replacement to the included mini USB side connector). Just not through the Cradle?

I haven't had enough time to put it into words yet, but I really like it so far. Vinyl processor is very cool and it does seem to have more space soundsage-wise. Treble seems a little more present and bass is tightened up. Somehow a little warmer but yet with a little more detail. Having said that, I still want the gold brick LOL. With 3.02, cymbals on some songs no longer irratate me. Sound seems more natural.

2,800 hours on the balanced output and I finally decided to start burning in the single-ended output.

Generally a very good update, although some will prefer the bass of 3.01

Happy that you took the dive, in all honestly was solely about your enjoyment If in time you want to try custom firmware I'll help you to unlock the WM1A to it's full potential, or simply roll back to an earlier stock Sony firmware version.
