THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO

Not sure haven't heard the stealth, but a lot of it will depend on music taste and general preferences and of course system differences play a huge role. I noticed the composer can sound drastically different on various set ups. On some it sounded very flat, and 2 dimensional, on my system now, very holographic and beautiful. Unlike for instance Susvara that imo will always sound like Susvara it just gets better at what you'll already appreciate. The composer though.. to me sounds different on various amps etc.

Awesome, but i’d prefer portable amplifier for them

With the composer use the Aroma Audio A 100 TB balanced portable amplifier with its separate power supply, and replaced the stock op amps with Burson V7. The sound is detailed and full with a warm, analog signature.
As a source use the SE 300 AK

Hey Nomax, how about those excellent spacers, still on the way? Need just a little more room

Just curious for those who feel the soundstage of the composer to be flat or wall of sound" what dac and amps are you running? As I've experienced this with several top flight amps and daps, but completely the opposite on a couple others.

Is it a "wall of sound" using The Full Score One? It's truly like a different headphone on this M2 Tech Marley Mkii so that's why I recommend it as I do, as I was ready to trade or sell it until it really just started to open up, now I listen to it more than my Susvara or MySphere's

They lack depth and staging on my Artemis so I use crossfeed to which they respond well. On my Scylla less so and crossfeed is not needed.

Sounds like I need to ask for a commission cut on these Marleys and start selling them to Composer owners 😆. Dead serious though, if you have a Composer you'd be amazed with this little beast of an amp :)

So I have gotten LP EA4 portable amp to go along Cayin N30 and I must say this "litlle" amp really pairs well with the Composer ❤️‍🔥 I even like it a tad better than the Pro iCAN Sig with the supanova cable.

N30 does a fine job driving the Composer by itself but the lower end, stage size and dynamics obviously benefit from 6.5W at 32ohms and +/-15V voltage swing. This is a very interesting option to take on vacations… wished I had a transportation case for the composer, ironically my DCA Stealth is more transportable :p

The Composer is easily my favorite headphone of all time, thanks again to @lafeuill for introducing me to this gem!
