Hmm.. no mention at all of Scout Niblett? Didn't think she was that rare. Thanks to zenpunk for introducing me to her at the recent London meet!

wow.. never heard of them.. AWESOME SONG!  definately going to sample some more of this!!!
 
update: good grief, she's been around since 2001?!?!?!
how come nobody tells me these things!  I seriously need a guy for this.

Glad you like her! I like her simple songs that have minimal instruments. It's her voice that does most of the magic, not some catchy tunes in the background. Respect. One thing though, most of her songs are harsh with just plain drums or electric guitar. AFAIK, only "This Fool Can Die Now (2007)" have sweet romantic songs like Kiss.

There was one mention of Florence Welch several pages ago if I'm not mistaken. Certainly deserves much more than that though.

I am a big Florence & the Machine fan.  Good stuff.  I like that whole Genre - Grace Potter, Adele, Duffy...
