Ashley Barrett on the Vocals is always magic...to me anyways. She has another track on this album called paperboats and it’s up there in my top 3 favorite songs. Just in a mood tonight and this song was one of the 2 from her I felt like posting.

I enjoyed Cher's rock & roll period. Her disco diva, less so, though there's certainly an audience for that as well.
When I was a kid, I used to drool over her album covers, which were often quite racy (a word people don't use much anymore), as were the scant dresses she wore on her TV show.
Although her mother claims some Cherokee ancestry (which is certainly not out of the realm of possibility, being from Arkansas), her dark hair and generally swarthy looks may come primarily from her father's side of the family, which is Armenian.
She certainly has her mom's face, nose and cheeks though. The resemblance is quite striking.
