Where do the Aurisonics ASG-1 IEMs fit in here? Can they be considered basshead???
It has been some time since I have listened to the PRO 900 for a bass comparison, but I believe they are comparable regarding bass. One thing I recall distinctly is the shrillness of the highs on the PRO 900 to the point of unlistenable and am certain I vastly prefer the M-100.
Currently on amazon.ca I can get the XB500 for $76.97 or the XB600 for $79.99 which one out of the to its the better deal?

Not everyone thinks the highs are shrill or unlistenable. In fact some think they are perfect so keep that in minds before you count them out. I think they are awesome.
Managed to score a set of Sony XB600s for $50, so far I'm very pleased. Just the isolation alone is a huge upgrade from my mdrx300s.
Hello, I am looking for headphones with good bass, deep, extended, with the TmID not annoying. it is important that the sound is warm, dynamic and enveloping.
I connect the headphones to my old mp3 player, the Creative Zen.
I've already tried the AKG K518 but I did not like, with the volume up, volume was still low, and low were not enough.
To the sound that I seek, what do you think of the Sony V55, Sony XB500, and Jvc ha-s500?
I have the Pro900 and the D600 and the M-100 arrives tomorrow.
The Pro900 is a major basshead phone - absolutely love them and they handle whatever you can throw at them with no distortion. Same with the D600 so in my opinion you would be happy with either of them from a basshead perspective. I'm interested to see how the M-100's measure up to the other two.
what is the best IEM for bass heads currently?
