I know there is a lot of love here for the aesthetics of the LCD-2, but I would personally like to see a redesign that takes the weight below 500 grams.  The plastic cupped HE-5LE is 402 grams (stated, not measured) from the original HE-5's 450g (stated), so maybe Audeze should consider using plastic. Yeek, heresy!

And speaking as someone who briefly owned a pair of LCD-2.2, I also think comfort and weight distribution could be improved.

Just looking at the Audeze website and apparently the updated rosewood lcd2 only comes with a 1 year warranty. Where as the bamboo version says 3 years.

If you have even owned a Grado you know the Audeze isn't heavy because of wood.  Its the big old blocks of metal for the driver structure that drive the weight up.
