Altmann is blatantly profiteering charging over 3000 Euros for essentially the same DAP that he sold for 998 Euros a few years ago.

I purchased mine for around 800 Euros so I know what you are talking about.
However, another way to look at it is as the greatest bargain in history of expensive DAP's at 3000 Euros given it was once also listed at 10,000 Euros.

I guess you could sell your car and buy one of these with some nice phones and ride public transit with some nice music.

I would agree with your statement. I tend to shy away from multi BA with Tera Player

my preference Cheap - Koss KSC75 $15 (unmodified) Not Cheap - Sennheiser IE 400 pro $350

both let me enjoy the player more than any Multi BA I have tried with it
