Mine arrived today.  I'm afraid to let my partner listen to them, since they sound so good.  I only bought one pair - he doesn't like "expensive" things, and so I figured the $120 of the K553 drop was about the most he'd be comfortable with.  And my K553s are ok at work, but these sound SO nice at home....

  I would personally recommend the Fiio E12, instead of the Magni. The E12 is also massively powerful, is portable, and while the Magni2 may be a bit better, I was enjoying the E12 & K7XX pairing more. Feel free to go to my K7XX review to see what amplifiers I have tried with the K7XX and my impressions of each pairing!

 
I've been very happy pairing the K7XX with the E12A and the JDS Labs O2. Both combos are excellent.

Really unforgiving on poor quality files.
Warm, quite good bass, More detailed than Q701's that's for sure and more comfortable. Money well spend and I am yet to get them burned in.

Note these are first impressions ,so don't take them in mind just yet.

Does anyone take these around in a bag or something. Compared to my other cans, these definitely feel flimsy and i am not feeling good about taking em to office everyday in a bag. With my DT770, Mad dog never had this concern

I leave mine at home but I'd have concerns about transporting them on any regular basis. They are a little flimsy in my view. I'd probably get a Pelican case if I really needed to transport them but I imagine that'd be bulky.

 Considering i have this exact case. Yes, it does fit the K7XXs well. I can take a picture of them in it if you want.
