It seems at one time, KENRAD is relabeling SYL tubes. I have a rare KENRAD 6SL7WGT which is actually a SYL 6SL7WGT.

I'm going to guess that Ken-Rad relabeled Sylvania tubes at one point to fulfill a wartime military contract.

I can't express how much I appreciate the time and energy spent compiling this information. My sincere thanks.

I may have an additional 6SN7GT that might be worth adding to the mix. It is the Sylvania Staggered Black Plate, Bottom Getter known in some circles as the "Lawsuit Tube"

RCA held a patent on the staggered plate design and issued a "cease and desist order" The Sylvania variant was therefore only made in 1951 and 1952 according to what I've read elsewhere though I have one with a 1953 date code. I ran into a few of these rummaging through 6SN7's I have lying about. I have yet to give them a listen but others seem to really like them.

Can someone please help me identify if these 2 rebranded Sylvania 6sn7GT tubes are considered a Bad Boy variant? If they are not are they just some regular Sylvania 6sn7GT tubes? One is Silvertone and the other is Zenith.

Your Silvertone Tube is a 2 rivet badboy construction. The Zentih tube is a rare staggered plate. They sound very different from each other. Hope you didnt buy those as a pair.

Thank you so much for the info I really appreciate it! No I didn't buy as a pair i bought individually from a seller for $30 i think that was a good deal they test above NOS and read that you can find some re-branded gems out there that are priced cheaply.
