New member here, but not entirely new to tubes. Very grateful for the extensive write up by the OP. Having gone through the various configurations listed, I'm now wondering if the Ken-Rad JAN tubes I purchased a couple years ago are legit, as they have rectangular top micas without spikes, two hole t-plates rather than flat, and zero getter flashing. Definitely not as described. Possibly relabeled from another manufacturer? I previously had them in the right/gain side of my Schiit Freya+ with Raytheon JAN short bottles in the left/buffer side, but I noticed the low end was starting to lean out so I swapped them over to the left and replaced them with new PSVANE Premium Grade CV181-T Mk 2, which seemed to help. I'm hoping someone in here can positively ID them.

Let us see pictures so we can judge.

Kudos to @Renexx who DM'd me and was able to PID the tubes as relabeled 1943 Sylvania VT-231. I was able to attach pics to the DM, but not here on the main forum.
