Does anyone know if there is, or will be, a foam tip that works with the stem on these? I've gotten so used to only using foam tips the past decade that the silicones just aren't working for me. Thanks 🙏

There was a couple people who were misrepresenting the driver construction and then saying what is really nonsense about it having no soul to the music, it's just too clean, no imperfections. I mean come on, this driver is not some magical thing that is taking away all that personality. It's weird. I stand by that
That's just how minimizing harmonic distortions affect the sound, there is no pixie dust magic, it can be too much of a good thing.

Yes in the true wireless thread, I've also mentioned about the quality of the bass, it sounds very organic and smooth. Switching between the az100 and other earbuds, the others sound "wild" now.

One fault I find with the az100 is with the adaptive ANC. The adaptive ANC sometimes are not equal between the 2 buds, so one side let's in more external noise than the other side. I have turned off adaptive ANC and set the ANC strength manually instead.
Wondering if this is the result of going from 4 mics in AZ80 to 3.

How is the included ear tips with theses for peeps with larger canals?

Dependent on if they are about 14mm I will need to use a set from my Azla range, I own them all include the Bose specific oval model that I use not just for my Bose earbuds as they fit other ovel style earbuds also but not sure if they will be ideal for these or if the ALZA Apple/Samsung ones will be better fit due to the new design but the grooves are in the body not nozzle so may be fine.

That was the voice mic as it was closest to your mouth, they now have replaced it with the AI NC.

Adaptive ANC (the above Youtuber does not like it at all on any earbuds) and is always a hit and miss, set to manual if you get issues but its early days for the Firmware/App.

I just got mine. I exclusively used the Sony XM3 for the longest time. I got Bose QuietComfort Ultra which the ANC was amazing; but the sound signature was too V shaped. It was fun sounding and I didn't bother to EQ. The biggest issue was that I couldn't get them out of the case, they were too slippery.

Anyhow, comparing to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra:

+ Case is so much smaller and pocketable. I think I'll forget I'll have these in my pocket.
+ Build quality is better; Everything just feels like it's built to a tighter tolerance.
+ Sound is balanced out of the box
- Volume rocker on my phone changes the volume in larger steps then I prefer. I prefer much smaller grain controls. Is there a setting for this someplace?
- ANC doesn't appear to be as good as the Bose; The Bose was mind boggling and I didn't feel any undue ear "pressure"
- Smaller sound stage. Bose was indeed "fun" sounding.

Connection so far seems pretty stable to me; Bose or Sony never gave me any issues either.

But I need more time with them ... I'll use them heavily over the next week to break them in. And then decide if I'll keep them or look at either the B&W Pi8 or Nobile Rex5.

They L size tips are pretty large, I think they will fit large ear canals. The eartips from the Bose quiet comfort ultra also fit on the az100. Third parties tips are fine as well since the notch is inside the bud's body and not in the nozzle.

Thanks but remember Bose's ear tips are flange style not bud style so may not hold some earbuds in place without a fin/wing, the AZLA Bose ear tips are bud style.
The tips from the ultra fits securely on the az100.

I would also consider to try the B&O Beoplay EX or Elevens.

I've been listening to them for a few hours now. It took a little time to get used to the change of the sound from the JBL Tour Pro 3 (I can't find my Aviot ZX1 but I will compare with that, too). The Tour Pro 3 is brighter, more "entertaining" sound with BA and treble detail but less depth. The az100 has a more natural sound to me. Technics definitely nailed it on the bass presentation: bass strings, drums, woodwinds, orchestral swells. Anything recorded on or before 1973 sounds great. Something like "Cross-eyed Mary" by Jethro Tull is best I've heard on TWS, same with a more recent artist I always struggled with, Joanna Newsom, her orchestral arrangements really deliver on the Technics, where on other TWS her, um, subjectively appreciated voice can dominate. The single driver has less sparkle in the treble regions, but the musicality these deliver makes them definite keepers for me.
