clicked search this thread but no results, sorry if it's been asked/discussed...
but it seems to me that this IEM shares a lot of properties with the Fitear ToGo! 334 or am I really mistaken here?
they appear to both have a slightly sloping FR balance and a bit bass/midrange presence at the very least... anyone who tried both? :)

Could you share your impressions listening to this song? I would like know how does it handle this kind of songs. bass, imaging, soundstage, instrument separation.
Do you actually feel it?

and also if you could this one

I'm not really good or experienced at describing sound, but I'll give it a go.

The bass is deep and full but does not have a strong impact compared to bassier IEMs like the CKS77, which will give you the hard hitting impact. The quality of the bass is very good though. I can feel it more from the bongo song than I did from fuel.

Soundstage is very good for an IEM, not just in width but in height and depth too. I can tell where each of the separate instruments are coming from, which presents a really good image in my head.

Overall it handled the songs very well and I enjoyed listening to them on the BA200

that is indeed quite close - it's only one of few things though, the distortion looks a bit different but the CSD's aren't that off either... if I read them correctly, never quite sure. thanks FarCry!

hoping someone has actually tried both enough to evaluate this... :p

distortion is 0.44% and 0.40% for the BA200 and 0.12% for the fitear. Not much difference and below 1% its not audible. And both of them have less than 0.5% THD. So it doesnt actually matter

What it does matter is the impedance graph which is horrible for the fitear.

group delay is almost the same

CSDs are actually quite different. Id say that BA200 is more linear and smooth than Fitear based on these plots. I forgot the decay response. fitear decays much slower than BA 200, three times slower. I am not sure if this is a good thing or not though. I know little about CSD graphs

Honestly i really dont understand why Fitear is so expensive

oh soup, I completely forgot to check the timescale... that is a very slow decaying bass. I suppose the fitears bass will sound a lot "bigger", with the very different sub-bass decay. not completely sure here...
there are definitely some areas where you don't want any decay though. these seem to be great in that regard.
and it also depends on where the distortion is, if I understood it correctly - also not sure about how much distortion is audible, need to read up on that.

but that's cool, the fitear should be a lot better for detail retrieval and such maybe?

One thing baffles me. Looking at fitears decay response there are low frequences that completely disappear and then reappear! It would sound like an echo wouldnt it?

that is why the graph has the shape more of a cliff response rather than a downward slope like in the BA 200.

I think you can say the decay times make it fell more "dynamic", in a sense

I wouldnt say dynamic. This is RE-400. same decay time as BA200. I really dont know what to think about this one. Maybe you could say "dynamic" times 3?

But dont worry guys heads up. I asked Rin and as soon as a get a reply ill update my post here for everyone to know

I know the RE400's response... IMO it is more like an exception than anything since it is tuned for accuracy

same goes for that

so i am not sure if this kind of decay response is actually exception

Ouch, somehow my laziness caused a visual confusion.. I just updated the old CSD plot of RE-272 to my current standard. Now you'll see the difference isn't that big between RE-400 and RE-272. Gonna update 334 data as well.

this is the correct CSD plot for Fitear. Yeap pretty much the same but smoother and better linearity for the BA200 (but this is also reflected in the FR graph).

Slightly longer decay around the 2KHz region for the BA200

and the BA200

definitely someone must try fitear togo and ba200 and tell us his impressions. They look like siblings!

marley which amp did you use? How would you describe the sound? Ie bass got tighter/more resolution

so far im only using it on my absolutely horrible onboard sound and youre right it does make a fair bit of hiss

Ehm I mainly use the hisoundaudio rocoo p, so that's a dap. The hiss is apparent but not when there is any amount of outside noise.
I also use it with the audinst hud-mx1 which is a good pairing, absolutely no hiss. The differences are mainly a slight increase in resolution and the soundstage widens a lot when I got from the sansa clip zip to the rocoo p.

I just tried the shure SE535 with the rocoo p and it has a lot more hiss than the BA200. So that stabilizing thing might actually do something!

can you hear any hiss from the sansa clip zip (16 Ohms)?

apart from that all that youve said are normal i would say. hisoundaudio rocoo p has impedance next to the earphones target, while audinst hud-mx1 is below 5 Ohms. So because of its high sensitivity rating it would be ok to hear a little hiss
