I'm trying to cull my rapidly expanding collection and I've decided either the T90, the HE-400, or the TH600 needs to go. In what may come as a surprise to many, I'm leaning towards selling the TH600. I feel like the HE-400 comes close to it in terms of bass impact and excitement - and I could get much more for the TH600. Furthermore, vocals and some mids on the TH600 sound too distant to me. Neither the TH600 nor the HE-400 can match the highs or clarity of the T90, though. Thoughts?

Interesting because I'm trying to decide between the Th 600 and T5P. Other than quick sale is there another reason you would sell the 600. Is there something you aren't happy with?

To me, certain vocals seem veiled and distant on the TH600. I am surprised by this since everyone lauds the headphone for its clarity. Also, when there are many instruments going at once, the TH600 seems to lose a lot of detail and everything blends together. Even with its spectacular bass and absolute mastery of electronic music, I can't seem to get passed these issues.
 

Which headphones are you keeping outside of these three?

 
Outside of these I'll be keeping the audio technica ATH M50s, the Beyerdynamic DT 1350, and an old pair of Bose QC2s.

I see the turntable in the background. Is this also when playing vinyl? My issue is I need a closed phone but don't want to spend the money for the TH900 or LCD-XC
