The Susvara is weaker in the Bass region than the Solitaire P.

Which was one of the reasons I went for the Solitaire
truth is both are so good it is hard to criticize either...they both have insane detail they just have different presentations

Since the Ha200 has no thread of its own I ask my question here.

Did anyone compare the internal DAC with an external Rockna Wavelight as source?

I wonder how the DAC Implementations compare. Also the different Upsampling Filters.

Just received my Solitaire P. Actually ordered the SE but they sent the P in error! Glad they did, as it sounds superb and I received a discount as an apology!
Only had a quick listen but already I hear great detail and soundstage, very 3D sounding, strong bass and vocals.
Need to listen more (100 hours burn in according to T+A) but I may even be selling my Diana V2. It's more comfortable than the Diana even with the extra weight. Lots of ear space too!

Maybe you could organize a meet up with @DarginMahkum, and try with own ears :).
I would be very interested in the result, because of the new standalone DAC. (Thanks for the notification)

I am considering trading my HA200 for DAC200. I will check if I can demo one.

Be warned, for unknown reason the DAC 200 lacks the EQ and Loudness functionality.
Also the Crossfeed function is only available on the HA200.

Yes, I just noticed that from the manual. Oh, well... False alarm. :)
I was really interested in either of those.
The HA200 lacks a regular pre out.
The DAC200 lacks the EQ (which is mandatory for me)

Always those little Details ..

Where is the pre-amp/headphone amp combination without dac?

I don't think we will get to see that in the Series 200.

There's now also a dedicated DAC by T+A, the DAC 200 .
So, as an experiment I connected the balanced out from Schiit Bifrost 2 into Lokius and that output into analog in on HA200. It works quite well and provides fine tuning beyond what is built into the HA200. I select this mode when I'm using either headphones that need a lot of adjustment, or really bad recordings, as many older classical recordings need EQ regardless of the headphone being used. When listening with the Solitaire P I use the built in DAC and tone controls on the HA200---I think it sounds better, but it's hard to quantify what is different. Ultimately, doing things this way allows a lot more flexibility and for sure to my ear the Lokius and the HA200 tone controls sound much better than any software EQ I have used. I have never quite understood why the HA200 costs $8900 USD, except that it seems to be built very well.

Have you tried connecting the ADI-2 to HA200 and using the PEQ ADI-2 has? If yes, what is your opinion?
