Hey guys, what are the signs/symptoms of a blown headphone driver?
A friend of mine was using my hd650 headphones at near max volume on my little dot mkiii amp, and I'm kinda paranoid.

So is it usually pretty obvious? One of those things where you definitely will know straight away the driver is blown? I feel like the bass is a lighter than before.

Also do you think a little dot mkiii amp would have enough power to blow a headphone? (if put to max volume on high gain)

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Drivers burn in and then burst. There is no just worn drivers. I have a friend with 70+ headphones that have seen like 1,000,000 hours of studio use and they still sound great.

1. Friend is a idiot, slap him

2. Don't let friend touch headphones
