Symphonium Titan - Impressions and reviews

From reading all these 11 pages,

Are the Symphonium Titan more musical, with better bass and treble extension as compared to the Helios and Crimson?

Or where does it sit with respect to its two fellow siblings, nevermind the Meteor and Triton? 😅

Has anyone compared them to the Maestro Mini and Scarlet Mini? Is it something like the IE900 - that timid, controlled subbass rumble like subwoofer in the background as opposed to all the midbass in the Scarlet Mini?

Delete. Got confused with the Storm thread.

Look forward to this one, been already very close to buy Crimson. This is even more tempting, as a basshead I need it 🤭

Yes. Vented and no pressure. Totally not the Meteor or Crimson.

Not sure about the config. Symphonium stuff always sounds like there are 50 BAs and 10 DDs.

The mids are neutral, not recessed like the Meteor. The meteor is warmer. Definitely more musical than the Crimson. The Crimson leans to a hotter treble, this is bassy and smooth with ample treble to balance the big bass and create a spacious stage. Not smooth like some cheap IEM, just not detailed like the Crimson. I don't have the Helios and Triton.

Personally Crimson render Midrange texture and the last micro detail on Treble more complete than Titan. However Titan will punch more, especially in sub bass area, very solid on that area. Treble still sparkly enough, not too dark by any means. Titan is more fun, but Crimson closer to reference kind of tuning.

Wow super fast shipping, thank you @ZeroChad ! Initial impressions: sound better than when I heard them at CanJam New York. Bass is awesome but so are the mids. Sparkly treble.

Just got mine, listening to them now, so satisfying.

Packaging, presentation, unboxing experience, accessories are all top notch. Symphonium sure knows how to let customers feel like they've purchased something special.

I don't think 'better' is the word here. It's all subjective in audio.

Titan has more bass than Crimson but it's a different bass characteristic. Crimson's bass is generally faster while the Titan's one is more enveloping in general.
Titan is obviously tuned to be more fun vs Crimson's technical nature.

Helios remains our OG technical reference but it's soundstage can sound a little smaller, more forward and less 3D than our models with PHAT™.
There is a respectable portion of people who prefer the Helios's treble presentation compared to Crimson.
Hey guys. Is this a 2BA + 1DD config?
I assume this is vented and no pressure build up?

Yea 2BA + 1 Custom Tuned DD. Externally vented so there shouldn't be pressure buildup.
The air pathway is also internally filtered through the COREpart.

Is this the vent? Very clever 😀

Yeap! The sockets are also internally reinforced by the aluminum shell so there's no worry about socket durability.

Thanks for the pictures of the new packaging. We worked hard on this one!

If you notice, we've introduced a newer and larger black metal case with the new boxes which should better fit IEMs and cables.
Additionally the introduction of a cleaning cloth, a new style of cleaning brushes and a protective pouch for each individual side of the IEM (also colloquially known as the ball-sac pouch :stuck_out_tongue:)
