Survey: Post your balanced system

Exactly. A much more meaningful comparison IMO would be one of the DIY tube designs, configured for balanced operation. That's if you wanted to compare DIY vs. commercial. If you wanted commercial vs. commercial a balanced Supra, the Balancing Act or the Millet 307a amp would be much more suitable.

In any case to get on topic, I have a 4 channel B22 being built to go with my Parasound DAC.

Thanks for the idea Grawk!

I didn't even think about that setup. I did a little preliminary listening last night and I'm REALLY liking what I am hearing. I finally see what the whole fuss is about the AMB B22 design. This is one solid state amp I can see myself owning down the line.

As a preamp, in my speaker rig, I am thinking of purchasing one! I liked it that much
As a headphone amp, I wasn't blown away in my short listening session. We'll see where it goes

I've already contacted the builder for a possible purchase...sick sick sick!

Will keep everyone posted.

I've had the RudiStor NX-33. But I recently sold it and have a RudiStor RPX-100 on the way. All output will be into > Bal Edition 9s, Bal Senn HD 650, Bal Senn 580/600

Primary Source is Rega P5/BenzH2 > balanced Hagerman tube phono pre > RPX-100 >

Digital: Computer > Digidesign MBox (as balanced DAC) > RPX-100 >

Oppo 970 HD (single-ended) > SE input of RPX-100 > internal phase switcher on SE input > Balanced output of RPX-100 >

I thought I'd make my own contribution before my balanced dynamic system changes within the next couple months to its final state....
