I recently bought the Superlux 681s (which I really like) but the problem I've encountered is the clamp force. I have a relatively large head so the clamp force gets uncomfortable after awhile and the headphones have good memory of their "rest" state. Is there any way to loosen this up a bit so it doesn't press on the sides of my head so hard?

Get a couple of books plus one extra that represents your size head, the plus one would be an inch over the size of your head.. Throw on that superlux whenever you get a chance to on them books.. It should stretch out a bit for better comfort. .That is just a rule of thumb for all headphones that have any type of clamp..

Thanks for the reply, I've tried that but it hasn't quite worked. Either I didn't do it for long enough or books weren't thick enough. Or my head is gigantic...
