Hi guys, Long time since i posted here but iam interested in buying a good pair of iem's ! I currently own a pair of full sized he500s and i also own tdk ba200 iem. Now maybe the he500's have spoiled me, i dont know, but i just never really got in to the tdk's . Its like there missing something ... they sound a little dead is the only way i can describe it! So iam hoping to find something thats at least more pleasing to my ears then the tdk's and also something that can somewhat challenge the he500s if possible ?
My budget is reasonable but not huge! Maybe €350 / $450 but thats my maximum . I really cannot afford to go over that!
Iam looking for something that sounds a little surprising! Like when you put them in your ears , hear the sound and go ooooh i didnt expect that ha Good crisp sound, Great vocals, good treble but not too bright as at louder volumes it gets to harsh and i usually listen to my music somewhat loud! Good punchy bass but bass is not as important to me as other characteristics! I dont have a particular genre as i listen to anything and everything but if i had to choose i would say i listen to acoustic / pop the most!
Also important i should mention is that they dont require amping as ill be using these mostly for casual use with my sony z3
