Hi all,
 
I almost never use earphones or in-ear stuff so I'm pretty much clueless in this area and I'm asking for some help here.
 
My wife is looking for something with decent quality for listening to streaming radio (Slacker, Mog) while at work. She's definitely not an audiophile but she does like decent sounding music but without any huge over-emphasis, especially to the low-end. Budget is <$50.
 
Any suggestions for a set that might work for her?

^ Maybe so, but if his wife is like most women those 8320s are too big for her ears.
 
My wife carries a Sansa Clip and Sony EX-61. Being the independent, beer-swilling scotch-drinking football-watching broad she is, she appreciates that they're small enough to fit in her ears without being pink or purple or some other color typically marketed to women. They sound quite good to me.

You want a small one? The Philips SHE-3590s might be up your alley. It's pretty bassy, though, so it might not fit OP's criteria. They come at about $8-10 bucks, and have a lot of colors, too -- that is, if you so prefer.
