Hi there, it's been a while since we had a sub-bass IEM thread. Please post your favorite sub-bass oriented IEMs or earbuds! I've heard the mh-755 which immediately got me hooked, and the frequency response of those actually extend higher into 20hz rather than rolling off. Please post others!

Using pure silver cables and adding an external amp or buying a DAP with the beefiest internal amp you can find (ie. Kann) are recommended if you crave deeper sub bass.

UM MEST, ThieAudio Monarch, iBasso IT07, Sony IER-Z1R, LCD-i4 from what I have heard.

Best quality: IT07
Most quantity: MEST

IT07 have better bass quality than Z1R?

IT07 have better bass quality than Z1R?

They are close. IT07 has very tight, textured and controlled bass. Z1R has more lively and bouncy yet controlled bass. Since this is sub-bass thread I said IT07 wins as I perceive more nuanced sub-bass from the IT07. Mind you I don’t have a proper source/amp combo to extract 100% out of the Z1R right now. Thinking about getting the DX300 for it.

My under 100 Dollar favourites:

Kbear Diamond - very nice subbass extension, punch is less pronounced. Smooth mids and highs.

Tiandirenhe TD06 - huge subbass, also nice punch, mids and highs are not as refined as the Diamond

What are your favourites in the, let's say, up to 150 Dollar bracket?
